PM Tarique Rahman Urges BNP Leaders to Support Law Enforcement in Maintaining Order

Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman called on party leaders and activists to assist local administration and law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and order across the country.

He made the remarks while addressing BNP leaders and activists from Bogura District at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban following the oath-taking ceremony of two newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) from Bogura-6 and Sherpur-3 constituencies, according to Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.

Highlighting the importance of stability, the Prime Minister said leaders and activists must play a responsible role in ensuring peace in their respective areas.

“If anyone engages in activities that disrupt peace, it is your responsibility to inform the law enforcement agencies. Don’t take the law into your own hands,” he said.

He further stressed that maintaining law and order alongside continuing local development efforts is essential and must be ensured at all times.
