The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has called on its leaders and supporters to show restraint and avoid public celebrations after its victory in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.

In a notice issued on Thursday, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman directed party leaders and activists to arrange special prayers across the country after Jum’a prayers on Friday.

He also instructed party members not to hold any victory rallies, processions, or public gatherings anywhere in the country.

The party said the move reflects respect for democratic values and aims to maintain peace and stability during the post-election period.
