The Bangladesh Army has urged the public not to be misled by false and misleading information circulating online and on social media about the Army and the Chief of Army Staff.
In a press release, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate said the information appeared to be intended to create public confusion and damage the Army’s image.
The ISPR called on the public not to be influenced by such propaganda and to rely on official statements and credible sources for information about the Bangladesh Army and its chief.
The release said the Army remains united and guided by a strong chain of command, mutual trust, discipline and professionalism.
It also reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to carrying out its responsibilities to the country and its people.
