BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today joined a views-exchange meeting with district-level leaders of the ruling BNP and its three associate bodies.
The day-long meeting began at 10:45am at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh auditorium in Farmgate.
The meeting was chaired by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir attended the programme as the special guest.
Several BNP Standing Committee members also joined the meeting, including Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Abdul Moyeen Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salahuddin Ahmed, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Selima Rahman and Dr AZM Zahid Hossain.
This was the first views-exchange meeting between Tarique Rahman and the party’s grassroots leaders since the 13th parliamentary election held on February 12.
Speaking about the meeting, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said the party’s election manifesto and the government’s future plans would be presented to the leaders.
He added that the party’s organizational activities would also be discussed during the meeting.
