Bangladesh Army continues relief and medical support in flood-hit Chattogram, CHT

The Bangladesh Army has continued its humanitarian assistance operations in flood-affected areas of Chattogram and the Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT), providing relief supplies, medical treatment and emergency support to affected communities.

According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) release, army personnel conducted medical camps in Hathazari upazila of Chattogram, where flood-affected residents received healthcare services and essential medical treatment.

In Rangamati, soldiers distributed relief materials among flood victims while extending necessary assistance to families affected by the disaster.

The Army also carried out relief distribution activities in Fatikchhari upazila of Chattogram. Alongside food and other essential items, medicines were provided to people suffering from the impact of the floods.

The ISPR said the Bangladesh Army will continue its humanitarian operations to help ease the suffering of flood-affected people and ensure the delivery of emergency assistance to communities in the affected areas.
