iGA Istanbul Airport CEO Selahattin Bilgen paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at Istanbul Airport during his transit en route to New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, they discussed investment opportunities in various sectors, including the modernisation of Bangladesh’s airports, PM’s Assistant Press Secretary KM Nazmul Haque said.
Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat and several members of the Prime Minister’s entourage were present.
The Prime Minister made a stopover of several hours at Istanbul Airport while travelling to the United States.
He later departed Istanbul Airport for New York at 2:10am local time.
