British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke met Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman and discussed his priorities for the upcoming UN General Assembly (UNGA) Presidency.
During the meeting, Cooke sought to understand Khalilur Rahman’s key priorities for his UNGA presidency, according to the British High Commission in Dhaka.
The two sides also discussed UK support for the Rohingya, ahead of the ninth anniversary of the Rohingya crisis.
Bangladesh-UK cooperation on migration was another major issue discussed during the meeting.
The talks highlighted continued cooperation between Dhaka and London on multilateral affairs, humanitarian support for the Rohingya and migration issues.
