Chevron Delegation Meets PM Tarique Rahman to Discuss Energy Cooperation

A delegation of Chevron Corporation paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at his Cabinet Division office in the Bangladesh Secretariat.

The meeting was held with Chevron Corporation’s Base Assets and Emerging Countries (BAEC) Division President Javier La Rosa and Chevron Bangladesh President Eric M Walker, according to the Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman.

Also present at the meeting were Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmood Tuku, Adviser for Finance and Planning Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, and State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit.

The discussion focused on energy-related cooperation and investment opportunities in Bangladesh’s power and energy sector.
