Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a bilateral meeting with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting was held at the UN Headquarters, Prime Minister’s Assistant Press Secretary KM Nazmul Haque said.
The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen friendly relations between Bangladesh and Croatia, particularly by expanding trade and investment and increasing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
They stressed the need to broaden economic partnership and cooperation in trade and investment, skilled manpower, education, technology and other promising sectors.
The two prime ministers also discussed strengthening cooperation at multilateral forums, including the United Nations, and enhancing coordination on international issues of common interest.
