US President Donald Trump has expressed his expectation of meeting Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in the “not too distant future” and conveyed his warm regards and love to the people of Bangladesh.
In a letter to the Prime Minister, Trump thanked Bangladesh for its decision to purchase Boeing aircraft and expressed appreciation for Tarique Rahman’s attention to the matter.
“Boeing will not let you down, and I will not forget,” the US President said.
Trump also expressed confidence in Bangladesh’s future under Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s leadership, saying the country and its people have a bright future ahead.
“Please give my warmest regards and love to the people of Bangladesh,” Trump said, adding that he looked forward to meeting the Prime Minister in the near future.
